Esther Duflo Pemenang Nobel Ekonomi 2019

My Son's Potential (Day 9, Animal Sea Creature)

My son loved to see sea creature. Not only fish but also starfish, squiid, shell, jelly fish, etc. His eyes so blink-blink when we took him to Jakarta Aquarium to see many sea creature there. Also when we feed and swim together with the fish in Umbul Ponggok. He also can watch over and over again, his favourite sea creature in youtube. His favourite is octopus. He can spend hours to see so many type of octopus in youtube channel or discovery channel television. He even insisted to buy octopus in the supermarket and eat it after being cooked by me. So his adorable on octopus really grab my attention. Could it be his potential? What should I do to elaborate it? Perhaps next, we will learn together how to dive/snorkell in the ocean so we will see the octopus in their habitat which can give a unique experience to him. Or maybe we can have an octopus as a pet??? Wkwkwkwk...  #harike9 #tantangan10hari #semuaanakadalahbintang #kuliahbundasayang #gamelevel7 @institut.ibu.profesional

My Daughter's Potential (Day 8, Dancing)

Someday ago, her teacher reported to me that my little daughter doesn't want to dance. She even close her ears, doesn't want to hear the music. So meanwhile the other kids dancing with the music, she will go outside the class and will play by herself until the dancing class is over.  Hmm, I was quite dissapointed too hear that news. Because so as far I know, she loved to dance at home. She like to listen her favourite music and dance with it. Then why at school she didn't want to dance and listen to the music? I'll find the information. I asked her, then she answered that she didn't like the music also the style of the dance.  Hmmm, puzzle solved. I still can see her eyes sparkle when dancing and while listening to the music. Then I bring her to the traditional javanese dancing class. Just to see. Also to see a ballet show. She loves it very much. But if I compare to her likeliness with water, the dance just so so. So I think, I would elaborate more on the water sid...

My Daughter's Potential (Day 10, Everthing Should be Logic, Very Eager to Know Anything)

If I have to mention what is the most potential of my little daughter, I would say her willingness to learn, her wanting to know anything, and her curiousity on everything. She can asked so many things on life, so many things she saw or she hear or she touch, anything that cross her mind. So everytime I bring her to a new place, her curiousity will take place first. She will go around, touch everything, asking what is this, what is that, what is the purposes of this things, etc.  For example, when I bring her to a bank, she will go inside behind the teller, customer service, see everything and touch anything. Fiuh. So many times the security be mad at me, because can not handled my daughter well. She will take each type of the form/brochusure and bring it home. She even want to operate the ATM machine using my cards. Well well well...  Another example, when I bring her to hotel or mall. She will run inside it, go around, touch everything, asked anything new in her eyes. Just c...

My Son's Potential (Day 7, Kindness)

He is just so kind. Sometimes I wonder how he can be that kind, even others hurts him. He still kind to them. I realized it when he started to yell and get a fight with his bigger sister. No matter how his big sister teased or make him cried, he still kind to her.  For example: I usually want to take him going somewhere (going to the mall/playground) without his big sister. Just a test for him, is he wanna let her big sister left behind at home (his big sister was sleeping) or we just going somewhere just the two of us because his big sister is in the school. He refused it and said, "I wanna go with Sister Mocca, she will cry if we don't asked her to go together with us."  On the contrary, when I asked the same question to his sister, she will gladly happyly leaving his little brother at home. Wkwkwkwkwk. See the difference... Based on that, I said that my little son has so much kindness in her heart. Hmmm, what will I do next then to elaborate his kindness potential? I w...

My Daughter's Potential (Day 6, Competition)

She will be driven by competitive so intense. She can learn by herself anything just in order to become the champion in any kind of race. I realized when I take her for her first time going to colouring game. She so obsessed want to be the champion and bring the prize also the medal. I know that she is not that talented in colouring and drwaing. Just so so. So how come she can be the winner? So she not becane the winner.  But next at home, she learn how to draw and colouring better through youtube and from me in a very fokus way with the next goal I have to be the winner for the next colouring game. Since she was not that talented so how hard she learn, the improvement not that great. But she coloured better, but just not enough to be the winner. So after the third time, she joined a colouring game, I think she realizes that if she want to win, she should got a lesson from proffesional how to colour and draw well. Should I let her to go to drawing lesson, eventhough I know her tale...

My Son's Potential (Day 5, Nature)

My son's love to be in the nature. Just like me. While her bigger sister will choose going to the mall rather than going back to nature (except:beach).  Almost every morning, after we get up, we will go around to take a morning walk. A lot of trees and animal sorround our neighborhood. Some chipmunks, many birds we can see in the early morning. Some bats also we can see after sunset. My little son love to see the sorrounding. He like to smell the flowers, pick some leaf or woods and used it as a stick to play with. He really like to see the "putri malu" and play with it. He will touch it to see it become smaller. He also like to feed the animal and see it live freely in the wildlife.  Hmmm, I'm still not know yet, how to stimulate his potential in nature. For now I just walking around accompany him for morning walk, going to the zoo, going to the beach/mountain. Is there any idea, how should I digger or stimulate this kind of potential in his early age?  #harike5 #tan...

My Daughter's Potential (Day 4, Water)

My little girl falls in love with swimming. She loved to swim in the pool or the beach. She also simply like playing with water in the bathroom while take a bath. Playing under the rain. Playing with showers. Anything with water. She also like to play in the river and waterfall.  She just so brave enough in the water. She learn how to dive. She have a guts to swim in the deep pool even using handband. Also playing with high wave in the beach. Seeing jellyfish and starfish also make her eyes spark. She so curious on it. She also adore mermaid, even she has a mermaid suit and used it in the swimming pool.  It can take hours while playing with water. Actually her liking for the water maybe is inhereted from me. Because I also like water so much. I can swim in the beach from 6 a.m until 11 a.m. then take a lunch then going to the beach again play with the wave until sunset.  Next, my to do list for her perhaps to giving her a swimming lesson from the professional, once she en...

My Son's and Daughter's Potential (Day 3, Lego)

Almost every kids love to play Lego, including my son and my daughter. They love to play it. They can arrange many shape from it with their imagination. Mostly, they make a robot, ship, plane, and rocket from Lego. They can make it so quickly based on their visual in their own brain. After they finished making something, they will let it be that shape for a couple days then they ruin it and make another shape. They will be very dissapointed if their Lego ruined not by themself (for example: her mother wreck it down unintentionally by hitting it on foot or simply they fall then make the Lego ruin into pieces). My daughter will be very mad and angry on herself if she fall and make the Lego ruinned because she thinks she can not be make the same shape again once it ruined. She will cried out loud and throw away the Lego. So do my son.  Since they loved so much playing with Lego, in order to prevent if something happens with the Lego, everytime after they built something, they will tak...

My Daughter's Potential (Day 2, Leader)

My daughter is 5 years old now. Even at her younger age, I can tell everybody that she is borned as a leader. She love to asked people to do what she wants. She like to arrange things and others should follow her. She also a disiciplined person, if she saw something not right she will ask the person to do the right things in a polite touch.  Many of her friends will volunteeraly follow her rule when they play together. She will order that, order this and make the rule. For example: when they play hide and seek or we could say policeman versus thief, she give the order who will be the cop and who will be the thief and where will be the jail  is. Even she order how to catch the thief, where to run, where to hide, until what number to count etc. Amazingly, everyone of her friend will follow her rule. Even she is not the biggest one, more likely the litte one in size (but she is the oldest one in age).  Based on that, I would say that my little girl has a leadership potential...

My Son's Potential (Day 1, Books)

My son had just 3 years old. He even can not read yet. But he knew some letters alfabetically from the song and I introduce him some letters too by showing him the flash card. But he is not that interested to learn about the letters, in my opinion.  The different story will say about books. Even though he is still not eager yet to learn about reading or simply to know about the letters. His eyes give me that spark when he saw a books. Any kind of books, especially books for the kids with full of picture and colour.  He can asked me to read the books for him again and again until 10 times a day for the same books. All of the books at the home is his favourite. Because he chosed it by himself while he was in bookstore. Sometimes I get so bored have to re-tell the story again and again. Sometimes I re-tell it not reread it. So i used different words for the same story in the books. Still he looks so excited, even if I just reread it same and the same again.  In that day, I k...
